July Review: Beloit Snappers

Morales is starting to rake.

The Beloit Snappers sputtered through another bad month in July, as the team won only ten of their 28 games. Though some prospects had great months, they never really hit their stride as a team, and never went on any kind of winning streak. With the month in the rear view, the Snappers will look to make some noise in the Midwest League Western Division.

Top prospect Angel Morales was a beast in the month of July, as he batted .361 in 21 games. He finished fourth on the team with 11 runs batted in, smacked six doubles, and picked up 22 hits. It was arguably the best month of his young career. Former top infield prospect Drew Thompson looks healthy again, and he is raking.
