TCD Top Stories: Delaney Breaks Save Record

Delaney was stellar for Fort Myers and Beloit.

One of the top stories of the 2007 season in the Twins Minor League season was Robert Delaney setting the single-season save record for the Beloit Snappers. Delaney set the record in a little over a half a season, and then went on to dominate in the Florida State League.

The 2007 season was one to remember for Robert Delaney, who went from non-drafted free agent, to possibly a top-20 prospect in the Twins organization. A product of Saint John's University, Delaney was one of the better relief pitchers in all of the minor leagues in 2007, and is slated to be with New Britain in 2008.
