Biography:
In 2004 Daigle made his debut with the Diamondbacks as a starting pitcher and, like the rest of the '04 D'Backs struggled. Still, he showed promise and it came as a shock to everyone, including Daigle, when not only did he not make the D'Backs '05 roster, he was sent all the way down to Double-A Tennessee. Alas, the D'Backs had a plan, and after moving from starter to closer Daigle flourished. Questions still remain about his legitimacy as a closer, but as a late inning reliever Daigle has shown more velocity, better command, and now that he's started working on a split fingered fastball he will have a real shot and finding the bigs again.
