The Minnesota Twins signed Wilson Ramos as a non-drafted free agent out of Venezuela in 2004, as scout Jose Leon signed the 17-year old catching prospect. Since his arrival, Ramos has turned into one of the top catching prospects in all of Minor League Baseball, and will be behind the plate for New Britain in 2009.
