Pino Tosses No-Hitter For Miracle

Pino has not allowed an earned run in three starts

On Saturday, there was a Miracle in Fort Myers, as right-hander Yohan Pino tossed a seven inning no-hitter.

The Fort Myers Miracle got an amazing performance out of Yohan Pino on Saturday, as the right-hander tossed a seven inning no-hitter. Pino, who was last week's TwinCitiesDugout.com Player of the Week, improved to 3-3 on the year. Pino allowed four walks, while striking out seven.

Beginning with his start against the Tampa Yankees on June 13, Pino has been unhittable for the Miracle, as he has not allowed an earned run in his last three starts, a span of 22 innings. He has been used as both a starter and a reliever this season, and has been successful in each role.

Last season, Pino was a Baseball America Low-Class A All-Star, and was a Midwest League All-Star, after posting a 14-2 record. In fact, coming into 2007, Pino had a 33-5 record.
