TCD Player of the Week: Chris Parmelee

Parmelee led the Snappers to a playoff berth.

Several players had excellent weeks worthy of consideration, including last week's co-player of the week Nick Blackburn who threw another complete game shutout. This week however, last year's top pick stepped up to the plate and was a major force in the Snapper's continuing their hold on first place, thus Chris Parmelee is deserving of this week's selection as Player of the Week.

Parmelee was selected in the first round of last year's draft with a reputation for being one of the better high school power hitters in the entire draft. The California native reported to the GCL Twins where he hit 8 home runs in 154 at bats which were the third most in the league with a .532SLG and .279Average.
