The Twins drafted Garrett Guzman in the tenth round of the 2001 draft, after an All-American High School career at LaMirada (CA) High School. Guzman was climbing the prospect ladder before a potentially career-ending injury sidelined him for the 2005 season. Guzman came back strong in 2006, and has once again put himself back on the map.
