Alex Burnett was selected by the Twins in the 12th round of the 2005 draft, after a stellar senior season at Ocean View (CA) High School. In his two years with the Twins organization, Burnett has turned himself into quite the right-handed starting pitcher prospect, and he is expected to get his first taste of full-season baseball in 2007.
