The Elizabethton Twins made it back to the Appalachian League Championship this season, but they came up one run short against the Danville Braves. Still, it was the second straight appearance in the title game for the Twins, who have become something of a powerhouse in the Appalachian League. Here is a recap of their 2006 season.

The Elizabethton Twins put together another successful season in 2006, as they made it to the league championship for the second straight season.
